DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT IS HAPPINESS?

Our brain has developed in thousands of years becoming bigger and bigger by creating new parts. One of them is the pre-frontal cortex that help us to adapt to our personal existence, in a psychologic way. This make us happier. That´s because we think happiness is something we have to find, so we synthesizes it. So we build a synthetic happiness. This provide us two types of happiness, the natural one and the synthetical one.

The natural one -> We achieve it by having what we want.

The synthetical one -> We get it when we don´t have what we want, but instead                                         of being sad, our brain makes us happy.

One example of getting the synthetical happiness is one Spanish blind swimmer, called Enhamed Enhamed. He was born in Gran Canarias, without having any visual problem. But when he was a teenager he, unfortunately, became blind, but he says that becoming blind was good for his life and he thinks that his life would not be so good if he did not have this visual problem.

PLEASURE? WHAT´S THAT?

Pleasure describes the broad class of mental states that human and other animals experience as positive, enjoyable, or worth seeking.

Paul Bloom said that pleasure is not just a natural thing just for human beings, It is

also mental; because it is true that you enjoy something because you like it, but you like these things because everybody think that it is awesome. For example, he said that if someone full a glass of low quality wine that was in a high quality wine bottle, they are not going to realise that it was the worst one because they have seen that it was in a good wine bottle. Supporting his claim, there are also culturals ingredients in pleasure, because of our believes. For example you don´t get so much pleasure of easter if you do not belong to our culture.

THE OTHER FACE OF MATRIX

Trinity and Morpheus were searching for The One, that they thought it was Neo. And they told him that anything is real, all was controlled by computers. Morpheus explained him that this world is a prision that we cannot touch. So they offered him to discover the real life and he accepted it. When he entered Matrix, the real world, he had to avoid the agents because they wanted to kill him. Morpheus believed in Neo and he sacrified himself to safe him, this produced Morpheus´ kidnapped. But Neo did the same and finally he saved  Morpheus.

As in the cavern´s myth there is a person that shows the others the real world, while the others live in the wrong one.

We think that Matrix is a very philosophical film only if you see it with this eyes, whereas if a person goes to the cinema to see it, they are not going to understand it very well.

ETHICS AND FREE WILL

In this article, we can difference two types of people, depending in if their believe in free will or not. People who believe in free will think that if you do something wrong, you are responsible of that action. However, people who dont believe in free will, when they do something wrong, they dont care about the problem.

For example:

If a person is driving a car, and he is using his mobile phone, and suddenly a boy appeard in the road and the men crash the boy, the men will go to prision.

However, if a man is driving a car normally and a boy run to the road without looking after, the men will not go to prision.

Taking expert´s opinion

People nowadays, when they have a discussion, firstly think in their believes or opinions, forgetting what people, who are experts in that theme, had said before.

In my opinion, it is sometimes good to think what you believe, but you have to ask for experts, just in case! But you also have to think that experts are humans like you, and they might be wrong too.
